Somatic Yoga for Singers and Vocalists ​(All Genres)

Vocalists are athletes in every sense of the word. Like athletes, singers benefit from training, maintaining and refining the breath, muscles and fascia in the trunk, shoulders, and neck as well as the face.  Explore the difference it can make to find release in chronically tight muscles of these areas. 

YogADHD: Yoga for
​Managing  ADHD

ADHD and AuDHD manifest in the body (including the brain) as development differences creating differentiation in the brain and nervous system body-wide. While trauma and environment may exacerbate ADHD or Autism, the originating factor for most people lies in your genes. Applying YogADHD, as an adjunct support to other treatment modalities, to manage the inherent traits and behaviors as well as learned behavioral responses offers a path to overcome overwhelm, erase exhaustion, and define your ability to move through the world with less struggle. Practice  poses and sequences for building energy, focus and clarity or calm, quiet and rest. No particular fitness or flexibility requirements. ​

Applied Yoga for Managing
​Adult Adoption Trauma

Adoption trauma, like other forms of trauma, may be stored in the body as implicit memory and may manifest as anxiety, executive function disruption, physical tension, or even physical illness. Yoga, when applied with the individual in mind, provides a process to access and release embodied memories, reduce self-criticism, even lessen the sense of shame or guilt. Our somatic approach to yoga encourages self-compassion, resilience building, and healing on multiple levels while building a stronger mind-body connection. Rebuild a connection to present-moment awareness and discover your unique ability to calm the mind and body. No particular fitness or flexibility requirements.
